Here's an overview of what you can expect to learn during this training:

Understand the unique needs and characteristics of children in different age groups. Explore the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices for children's physical health, cognitive development, and emotional intelligence.

Explore various breathing exercises that can be easily taught and practiced by children to enhance focus, relaxation, and self-regulation.

Discover simple mindfulness exercises and games tailored for children such as mindful breathing, body scans, sensory awareness, and gratitude practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and resilience.

Develop the skills to create well-structured and engaging yoga classes for kids with lesson plans, including warm-up activities, yoga sequences, guided relaxation, and fun group/partner activities.

Gain practical insights, effective strategies for managing a group of children during yoga sessions that encourage active participation, maintain discipline, and create a positive and inclusive environment.

Acquire a basic understanding of children's anatomy and physiology as it relates to yoga practice. Learn how to adapt yoga poses to suit different developmental stages and physical abilities.

Develop your teaching skills, including effective communication, instruction, and demonstration techniques for working with children to motivate kids and nurture their self-esteem.

Familiarize yourself with the ethical considerations and professional standards associated with teaching yoga to children. We will cover how to maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism in your role as a kids yoga teacher.

By the end of this training, you will have gained the confidence and knowledge to lead engaging and transformative yoga and mindfulness sessions for children.
